| MASSAGE CLASSES FOR COUPLES, FAMILY, OR FRIENDS |
| Massage is the most fundamental of all healing techniques. Massage is so basic that we do it naturally. Let me explain. You bang your leg on the coffee table. What do you do to ease the pain? You rub it. That's massage! Your child is sick in bed, how to you soothe them? You rub his back. That's massage! Your husband comes home from work and you greet him with a hug. What do you do to show your love further? You caress his back. That's massage. The point being is that massage is the most instinctual and nurturing form of healing, a quality we all naturally possess. |
| How would you like to expound on this God-given talent? I am offering small group workshops for partner massage that will nourish the heart, mind, body and soul of you and your significant other. Partners will learn to do a complete relaxing, and stress reducing massage in a safe and professional environment. You will learn how to prepare for the massage and proper draping techniques. Lessons will consist of instruction, demonstration and LOTS of hands on practice. Modalities taught will be basic strokes of swedish massage: effleurage, petrissage, friction, tapotemnet and some stretching. |
| Lessons will be held Friday nights starting at 6:00-9:00pm (please be promt to allow set up time). Cost is $50 per person. Massage tables and oils will be provided. Please bring 1 cozy blanket big enough to completely cover you, 1 twin size fitted sheet, 1 pillow, 1 pillow case, and 1 robe per person. If any allergies please bring your own oil. Wear comfortable clothes. Clothes will be worn most the class. There will be moments of disrobing, but with extreme modesty and professionalism. Your comfort is of great importance to me. Please come with proper hygiene and nails short as possible (no hangnails). MUST CALL IN ADVANCE TO BOOK A SPOT. |
